C300 2017
Shut Down
New to this forum and seeking information. Have 2017 C300 with 10,000 miles. Wife was driving and vehicle shut down losing steering and brakes, scared her to death but not injured. Went off mountain road on curve and up an embankment instead of off a cliff. Car engine shut down for no apparent reason but started again so she drove home. Has anyone had similar experience or heard of it? Had this happened 5 seconds later she could have gone over a cliff, or heavy traffic at high speeds - life threatening matter.
Would like to learn all I can about this matter.
