I paired my Onkyo DPX1A (and tidal) with the burmester audio in my 2015 C300. I must say the sound quality has improved quite a bit. My EQ is set to 10 0 10 and the surround is set to all 4 seats. I have the Tidal HIFI subscription ($20/month) and I download the music directly to the DPX1A for offline play.

The Onkyo DPX1A also plays FLAC (lossless) and MP3 files using the built in Onkyo music app (make sure to turn off the EQ in the app for best results). My FLAC songs sound even better than tidal.

The only downside is the command makes me tap center console button to reconnect (to last device) each time.

Athough, I have noticed that sometimes the DPX1A will automatically start playing after I start the car, if I wait.

I am curious to know what other devices people have had good results with.
