Has anyone switched to non run-flats?

Hello everyone, I have had my C300 with Sports package for 6 months. It has the 18 inch wheels. The town where I live has crappy roads and I would like to soften up the ride if possible. I went with the sport package for the looks, not necessarily for harder suspension.

Has anyone with the spot package switched to non run-flats? Did it make a bif difference?

Thanks

It would be nice if you could test drive tires before buying them! My driving style is conservative. My other car is a Lexus IS-250 with 18 inch wheels. I have gone through 3 sets of tires. I first had Continental DWS all season. These gave a soft ride and where quiet. The only thing I did not like was taking sharp corners. I could feel the flex in the sidewalls. The car never lost traction and was controllable. I just had to get accustomed to the flex, which gave the soft ride. Because of this, my next set was Michelin Pilot Super Sport summer only. Still a good ride but stiffer. Nice cornering. However, after 15,000 miles the tires became very noisy and stiffer. I guess due to rubber aging. The next set was Pirelli Pzero (not the run-flat version) all season. These I place midway between the Continental and Michelin. Soft but with good cornering characteristics. I will probably go with these when my C300 needs new tires.

i had the dealer swap out the run flats for non-runflats as part of the purchase deal.
