w205 c400 tires rubbing?! when turning wheel all the way and reversing

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone else had this issue with their w205's,
So I purchased a w205 C400 4matic last week with an extended warranty and I've been having a blast with it. Coming from a Lexus GS350, the handling is beyond my expectations and the available power on tap is also a huge plus. Anyways, my buddy and I went on a little cruise the other night and we've noticed that whenever the car would reverse and turn all the way, the tires would seem to be rubbing. Is this a common issue that can easily be fixed? I'm running on 19 inch stock AMG wheels. Thanks guys!

It is common for them to skip, as in lose direct contact with the pavement at full lock while reversing. The OEM tires/wheels should not be rubbing on anything, however.

Oh, I see. Could it also be that the tires are different sizes up front? I just checked LN that the front passenger side was on 235/40 while the front driver was on 225/40.

The front and rear should be staggered. The front left and right tires should be the same size.

Good luck,
Alex

Yeah, no problem! Your right, I haven’t seen too many 400. I think I’ve seen two on the road since January. Let me know when your around the Santa Clara area!
