2016 C300
Paint

Hi all,

I just a couple weeks ago picked up a used 2016 C300 (white). Is there any know issues with the body/paint on this particular model/year? I am hoping this is not a previous owner problem the dealer covered up. I am going to take it to the dealer for an inspection but curious to know if any known issues.

The rear bumper started to get a bubbled yellow "stain" i looked at it closely and i could peel a small bubble off and when i started looking around more I notice some orange small specks around the car in many areas (the back, have yet to search the front in detail).

Thanks for any insight/help.

Pics Please, I have a Polar White myself. The tiny orange specks are most likely rail dust. There’s cleaning solutions for those. Clay bar can help a little. Also Iron X but it’s pricey. I heard Meguiars Mirror Bright Wheel Cleaner works just like Iron X for half the price.

Here's a few - not sure if they will turn out well enough from the phone. The first and 3rd are the same spot and it was not there when i bought it. It is not a surface stain or substance but bubbling

I don’t know what that is. That 1st and 3rd pic it kinda looks like something dripped on the paint.

I’m building out my sprinter and it’s white and has the same problem. According to the dealer they don’t cover the white ones up while transport and they said that there might be something that got on the paint and contaminated it during transport. I don’t know if that happened to you but I’m having the same problem and that’s the story behind it.
