I have a UK Spec 2015 W205 C250D AMG Premium Plus with Comand.
It has the usual upgrades : Reversing Cam, Bluetooth, Steering Wheel controls, Burmeister, etc...
However it is the early 2015 version which is not upgradable to Carplay with the hack dongle.
Is it possible to upgrade the Headunit (pre 2015.9) (not the screen, controller, etc...) with the 2015.9 version which accepts the update dongle to Carplay ?
Secondly, as this should be a straight swap, is any coding required ?
If coding is required, is this a complex task ? (Meaning something a local MB dealer is not likely to squeal about).

I know you can buy the aftermarket Carplay Module, but I will not try to do it~~ not cheap, not easy to do, no factory looking~~Originally Posted by Kraven_a
