The cable is socket to socket, just need to open the center console to put the box there. Not very difficult, many clients can do it by themselves

For the car with Command Online (8.4'' original screen), need to check if the car has this AUX menu, if can not find it, need to ask the dealers or Mercedes service/retrofitting shop to unlock this menu, as our 8.4'' device sound comes our through original AUX, after install the device, need to choose this AUX to get sound, otherwise the Carplay/Android Auto/Mirrorlink will not have sound.
How does audio work with this? Will your phone need to be connected through a USB for Android auto and an AUX cable? Can it be a completely wireless solution?

For car with Audio 20 system(original 7.2'' screen), we will equip with an AUX USB adapter to realize playing sound in original speaker.
For car with Command online(original 8.4'' screen), the sound is come out through original AUX.
The Carplay, Android Auto and Mirrolink function should connect to USB(our device support this port), there's no wireless solution in the market so far as far as I know.

Yes, exactly.
To be honest I haven't tried normal voice calls, but will do on my next install attempt. Still waiting for response from the supplier regarding the mic problem.
Does anyone have a suggestion on where the box should be mounted? Looks pretty cramped under the headunit..
