SD Card reading error
Good day everyone - and so because i'm not a guru at using the search function and tried for all of 20 minutes, i'm wondering if anyone is having any issues with their cars not reading the SD cards? i just got picked up a '15 c400 and tried to put my SD card with all my mp3s into the slot but i'm getting an error message saying that there isn't media on it. also, i tried plugging my usb stick into a slot and it's only playing the audio from my videos that's on there... any help would be appreciated.
thanks!
thanks!

Reset your COMAND system
I've had exactly the same issue with my C400 SD reader. It seems to happen every two or three months.
As far as the failure to play videos goes, the COMAND system is VERY strict about not showing video while moving. You can't just be at a standstill, but must have the car in Park (I haven't tested it in Neutral) to watch videos.
To get around the "SD card not recognized" error, just hold down the CD eject button until the screen goes blank. Release the button and the system will reboot. Within 45-60 seconds you'll be able to get back to the media menus and things will be back to normal.
Admittedly an "ugly" solution, but it works for me. :-)

i'll give that a shot - and also, the car was parked when i was trying to play the video... i was only getting audio from it... maybe it's the format? but then again, why would the audio be working either??? .avi

Sorry to hear that - I'm officially out of solutions
Hopefully, you're still under warranty.
