I have a 2016 W205 w/Audio 20 as my 5 mile round trip drive to the office - many thanks to this forum on the Mag Mount thread from 2017 that took me down the right path that fits for me with my iPhone X with my mag compatible flip case - this specific "mag CD mount holder" inserts very well between the gap between the left side aluminum trim and padded dash - no mods needed - patient firm persistent pressure put the mount in that gap fine for me - and at $20 works great for me with good solid fit - quick pics below - and many thanks to the earlier forum thread for pointed me in the right direction on what works for me..
