I have noticed a visible amount of soot accumulating on the rear bumper of my C300 cabriolet. It is clearly from the exhaust pipes. Has anyone noticed this issue and what, if anything can be done about it? Thank you all- I am new to this forum and look forward to your guidance and experience.

Thank you for the reply. I can get the soot off the car easily. I am more interested if the creation of the soot should be a big concern and if there is a solution( mechanical or software?).
