C300 LED headlights
Hey guys,
I'm about to close a deal on a white C300. It has most of the options that I want except for the LED headights/daytime running lamps. Do you guys know if I can get the headlights replaced in the open market and how much that (parts+labor) typically costs? Thanks in advance!!

Well there’s now those knockoffs but I don’t think they have the same features as mine (auto high beam, turning beams etc) also the lighting package brand new was cheaper than aftermarket. I love my active LEDs, I live on top a very hilly neighborhood with curvy roads and it helps. It has probably saved countless nocturnal animals lol

The availability of the active LED's is country dependent. In the USA, you are limited to static LED's due to regulations. Aftermarket run about $1300. These are the ones that are plug and play knock offs but several on this board have purchased from Otto Auto and have good things to say about them. Being a DYI kind of fellow, I purchased used OEM static LED headlights and did it myself:

The price of this depends on what you pay for the used headlights. You could pull this off from $400 up to $1000.

Honestly I would wait until you find a w205 with led lights. Countless members here having buyers remorse with their halagen headlights ...
