Carfax - Corporate Use

Carfax - Corporate Use
I'm considering purchasing a 2016 C300 that is CPO. The only problem is that the Carfax report lists the vehicle's prior use as "Corporate". My understanding is that this can mean anything-- from a rental vehicle to a vehicle that was used for Corporate use to even a lease vehicle. I wanted to know if it is still a good idea to purchase a vehicle with this history?

Usually a cpo Mercedes-Benz with corporate use on the CARFAX means it was used as a service loaner. I would stay away from loaners, people like to thrash them. If this one has been a loaner since 2016 it’s probably not in the greatest of condition and I would stay away, but then again there’s a slight chance it’s not a loaner, I would have the car inspected to the last bolt. The CARFAX means nothing because dealers can manipulate them so if it says it’s accident free I would still check it out because you never know.
