Dealer options-Forgive my ignorance please

My car (‘15 C400) has no options from the dealer. Not a big deal or I wouldn’t have purchased it; I like going fast versus having a camera tell me what’s behind me. That being said, are there avenues for adding options (blind spot monitor, etc) after purchase?

Again excuse ignorance, just curious.

A gaggle of MB's
Please understand that in new generation MB's - like your C400 - the wire harness for your car was cut/installed specifically for the features you MB was built to have - so with technical features like Blind Spot Assist normally cannot be affordably installed aftermarket wise.

That said - there are three things that "could be" done - adding rear view camera (assume you have Audio 20) with aftermarket "MB equivalent" kit - about $900 - add front door "logo projector lamps" for ebBay/Amazon for about $30 - add metal Burmester front door speaker covers about $30 eBay of Amazon - OBD module to selectably cancel ECO start-stop on eBay from Vladimir in Belarus about $140 - to "go fast" consider the Dinan "piggy back tuner" for about $1300 to take you up over 300hp - Bluetooth controllable - LED headlights kindof factory Plug-N-Play about $1200 parts discussed in this forum ... maybe others will have additional suggestions...

Thank you for the reply. For the backup camera that’s a reasonable option. All else can be forgone. The motor is well over 300hp as-is and tune could put it north of 400hp based on normalized results. Appreciate the response

Rear back up kit only goes for $330ish. Works quite well.

Check out these guys for top quality fully integrated aftermarket add-ons.

These guys can give you cameras and parking sensor set-ups as good as or better than OEM.

There are other cheap aftermarket options for lane departure warning and collision avoidance. If you look around on Crutchfield and other car audio sites you can find most of the available stuff. Unfortunately, most will not be as good as the OEM MB stuff is.
