I am looking for recommendations based on experience. Which company should I go with for ECU tuning on my C400?

Piggy backs generally more finicky than bench ecu tunes. You all have good experience with piggy backs?

Nothing wrong with piggy backs. Brabus offers one for your car also. Just remember that if you do a tune, make sure it's from a person who understands your car's engine as it does not have Nana Protection like the C450/C43 and all AMG models have.

Any other recommendations? I think I would go for a ECU flash rather than a piggy back.

The JB4 is one of those most popular options. Good power gains, low price, easy to install and remove at home in minutes, lots of features and maps not offered anywhere else.

Second the JB4. Low cost and great results on C43 AMG platform, not so different than your 400. Shaved a full second off some cars.

I went OE Tuning on my C400. I'm doing the JB4 next to run together and really dial it in. My car has 50K miles and I didn't service it before the dyno. After plugs and new oil it should feel stronger, here are my results.

These are the numbers after the OE Tune:
Engine Corrected Power: 365 gain of 47HP
Torque: 403lbs gain of 90lbs
RWHP: 293 gain of 40HP

JB4 is a low every day price model, keeps the market and resale markets consistent. I believe it's the most feature rich and lowest cost tuning option out there, and certainly well proven over the years.

Here is a stock and JB4 map2 dyno for a C450. Depending on fuel used, E85 mixed in, etc, power can be cranked higher.

there are 2 blue lines and 2 red so what do these represent (2 different tunes)...where is the stock power line on the graph. ?
