2018 W205 Rain Sensing Wipers

Just picked up my 2018 W205, and I have a question.
The window sticker, and Mercedes say that I have rain sensing wipers but, the only thing on the wiper "stalk" is for intermittent settings.
Every car that I've had in the past, always had the intermittent settings, and then a dial of some sort, to change the sensitivity.
I don't see that on my car.
The attached picture is what I thought should be there?
Thanks
David

What you see in the picture is exactly what you should have except that the picture is of a wagon or a GLC that has rear window wiper.
Regardless, the knob at the end is what activates the rain sensor. It has 3 positions: off, low sensitivity and high sensitivity.
When you turn the knob to low or high the wipers should only activate when you get water on the windshield. Also, the wiper speed should automatically change according to the amount of water hitting the windshield.
The push button at the end of the lever is for "one wipe only" and washer fluid when pressed farther in.

In the US there are technically 5 positions. Off, two automatic/intermittent positions (low/high sensitivity), and two non-automatic low/high speeds. The automatic positions will only run when it senses water on the windshield. The two non-automatic positions will run constantly no matter if water is present or not.

Make sure to turn them to off position at the car wash!

A gaggle of MB's
European way is this - Off position - then when driving - single hit to alum button for single sweep - then if rain is consistent turn to appropriate sensor/intermittent setting..
