Looking to swap my dull boring Halogens on my W205 for OEM LED Lights.
My understanding is that because of error codes and voltage differences it’s an issue.
Is the coding and voltage issue resolvable/doable?
Ive located 2 mint OEM units just want to know it’s feasibility.
Thanks for any assistance. Sincerely appreciated

OEM won't work. Here's a link to aftermarket kit: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...otto-auto.html

Lots of posts on here about this subject.

I would just wait for several months (or year?) and replace with 2019~ design.

OEM's can be made to work but it takes a lot of time and some expertise. Not for the faint of heart, but no modifications to the vehicle, just the headlight:

An unmodified OEM can not be made to plug in without reprogramming and replacing the lighting wiring harness that runs through the firewall.

Also note that not all LED clusters are the same. The static ones are the adaptable ones used in the thread above.

That said, you can buy a kit. Look a couple of threads down for this:

I agree that OEM LED would most certainly not be an easy install. I’m not certain that $1600 for Chinese built non OEM headlights with minimal track record is in my opinion the option to go with.
Ive learned my lesson. Never buy a vehicle MB or otherwise without LES. Not just a performance issue but aesthetic as well. Changes the entire look of the vehicle.
I had HID lights installed yesterday. They are brighter whiter and look more pleasing.
I will wait a year or so and get a 18-19 with LED and car play as well as full command.

Its a shame that they would even offer halogens on a luxury vehicle. Makes it look really cheap. I would never buy a vehicle with halogens
