W205 C200 Sport Premium Plus. October 2018. 1497cc with 48 volt battery eq
C200 1497cc east. 2 expansion tanks?

Picked up my new C200 Sport Premium Plus (1497cc with 48volt eq battery). I’ve noticed the engine appears to have two expansion tanks, caps on both say beware very hot coolant, obviously one is for the radiator, what’s the other for?

The mystery tank

The 220CDi also has 2 expansion tanks, both in the cooling system, but not sure why they are both necessary. The only thought that I have could be to cope with expansion from rhe engine side of the 'stat before the 'stat opens. Just a guess though.
