Boot not closing

Boot not closing
Over the last month my boot will start closing (because I've pressed one of the buttons or swiped my foot under the car) then stop part way and open again. There is nothing to prevent it from closing and it generally will on the second or third attempt.
It's an intermittent fault and have it booked in for next week but wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
