Talking Aftermarket CarPlay on facelifted model?
Hi all,

I ordered a W205 C Class Facelift, but didn't receive a confirmation of the order yet so I can probably still cancel.
I have currently ordered CarPlay, but I was wondering if I'd be able to activate CarPlay on it later on and leave out now in order to save some money?
It's a company car with a lease of 2 years. CarPlay doesn't have added resale value, so I'll have to pay it in full.

If I'm not mistaken, the information on this forum is only about pre-facelift models?

Hi -
For 2019 W205, CarPlay is standard. It just 'comes with.' I do not think you can delete it and reduce the price.

Sadly, that's not the case in Belgium for now.
I have to pay €350 (excl. tax) for Package 14U Smartphone integration which contains CarPlay and Android Auto

I'm also in a similar situation. Standard (non premium or premium plus) cars in the UK come without Carplay but it is a £300 option. I've been offered a great deal on a stock vehicle that doesn't have it, but I don't want to miss out on it. Be interested to know if anyone knows for sure that it can be activated aftermarket.
