Is it necessary to perform a Winter Service?

So I was scheduling my 2017 C300 to have them resolve the creaking from the sunroof, and I noticed on my dealer's website a special on Winter Service. So my question is, how necessary is a winter service? I didn't do it last winter. I just had my A service performed back in May 2018. So for $360.00 the perform the following:
  • Complete Exterior and Interior Detail
  • Cabin Filter Change
  • Air Filter Change
  • Oil Change
What's weird is that they don't mention anything about topping off or changing the antifreeze. So what is everyone's thought on this service? Do you do it?
Thanks!

If your anti-freeze is good, you should be fine. All I ever do is install my snow tires. (Tire pressure will drop in cold temperatures, so you should also check that.)
