W205 rear brake pads and rotors
I have just been quoted $860 to replace the rear pads, rotors, sensors and new hardware (nuts and bolts) on my 2015 C300 4Matric. Seems high.
I've changed out the rotors and pads on my 996 Porsche and fairly confident home-DIY-Mechanic. But following Google searches I saw it's not such an easy task with the steering wheel button sequence needed to open up the rear parking brake.
Has anyone got a step by step guide? - I have the YouTube video already and only found a C63 work instructions. How different is the C63?
Also, what are the torque settings for the hardware?
Is the manufacturers warranty void if I do it?
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Plan on shopping for parts at Pelican Parts.

If you've done this on your 996, you can absolutely do the W205 yourself. The parking brake release sequence isn't terribly complicated...there are non-AMG videos on YouTube showing the sequence.
Unless your undercarriage is unbelievably rusted, there should be no need for any new nuts & bolts.

Rear Pads - 000-420-82-00 - $70/set
Rear Rotors - 000-423-18-12 - $65/ea
Wear indicator - 169-540-16-17 (only one on passenger side) $8
$208 + shipping and beer
Brake release sequence -
Record your mileage and keep receipts of parts ordered and you'll have no issues regarding any potential warranty issue...unless you do something blatantly silly during install.

Are my rear brake pads due for replacement? Dealership said that they were getting low and if I don't change them soon, price will triple (I assume they will need to replace rotors if I don't change the brake pads now)

Is 000-420-82-00 the correct part number for rear pads for all W205 sub models? I have seen info pointing both ways that it either fits and doesn't fit the P31 AMG LINE EXTERIOR/AMG SPORTS PACKAGE EXTERIOR in the USA?
