diy, looked alot for something similar and found nothing like it, and the light up TriStar for the grill is not the same i made another one now it has rgb and changes with my custome diy headlights via rf controller. Apparently I have no video or pic on my phone, in a couple hours when the sun goes down I'll post some pics or video
also I don't think I've ever zoomed in on those pictures I just zoomed in on them and that looks really bad but believe me it looks much better in person than it does in those pictures

Ah, the star is finally shining. Interesting take on the star inside the headlight, MB took the idea in their newest model actually and looks like will be the newest design language moving on forward for now.
