Mercedes C180 2014, Edition C Sport
Will changing from run-flats to conventional tyres affect car warranty.

I have a Mercedes C180, 2014 Model Edition C, Sport , can i change my tyres from run flats to conventional tyres, will this affect the car warranty -

Not many of us are conversant with South African consumer law but I'll hazard a guess and say no provided you're getting the approved sizes for your car. Consult your lawyer for proper legal advice.

Same story

Mine is a C180 Exclusive and deeply hate the run-flats on the South African roads.
Running Continental at the moment but the road noice and harsness are terrible.
Merc says i can change it to normal non run-flats, but then again, what happens should a flat happens?

Depending on the flat, a can of gunk might fix it, you'll need a tyre air compressor though. Or you'll need to flatbed it. So get the gunk and a compressor then cross your fingers and toes...
