Voice command button runs navigation only
Hello everyone:
I have a 2016 w205 c350e that I got recently and every time I press the voice command button on the steering wheel (whether pressing or holding it) it runs the navigation system regardless of the screen that is running. Could anyone help me with this issue? I tried factory reset but didn’t work out. Is that something I need to program?

You are lucky to get the hybrid version of the 2016 W205 as we do not have one in Canada. From your question and if I understand, you are listening to music and you push the voice command button on the steering wheel and it goes right to Navigation? I would guess that this maybe the only feature in your car but I would reach out to MB to see if there is an audio update.

I have the same car with COMAND and don't see this. I know that when you have the Garmin, the system doesn't support the other systems for audio control. I am not sure if those also directly switch to the navigation app, but it sounds obvious that it would then.
