Issue with 2019 C300 (door and air pressure problem)
Hey guys,
My girfriend got the new 2019 c300 last week but we are having an issue with the car. And I wanted to check with other owners to see if you have the same issue.
Driver side door wouldnt close properly..wouldnt close all the way with normal force . Dealer exchanged to another vehicle. But the new car also has the same problem.
And we later found out its bc of the air pressure of the car. So we tested multiple 2019 models and all of them had the same issue..just with the driver side door..when I leave any windows down or any other doors opened, the driver side door closes properly.
Both my girlfriend and I have been driving Benz for a number of years so it's not something we are being picky on.
Do you have the same problem? Should we notify manufacturer? What do you suggest we do?

Maybe the dealer forgot to remove some factory seal on the pressure flap? This pressure flap is pretty standard on all cars. Or maybe the new rear seats are so tightly packaged, that the air does not go through the trunk where the flap is?

Thank you for the information that you kindly shared. Would you happen to know where in the trunk this located? And is this something I can easily remove without going to the dealer? Thanks

It it should be under the trunk carpet.

check that the flap is moving freely.
