2016 C300 Sedan - Creaking noises
Hi:
I have a 2016 C300 Sedan. I constantly hear creaking noises from the dash and the top right roof area. Earlier I used to hear creaking noises from the glove compartment and that is still present. Now I hear really audible creaking noises from the top right roof area (Passenger side). Also, every time I start I hear a noise like that of dime/metal object rotating on a table from the left driver-side vent area. It is there for a few seconds and then goes away.
I have taken it to the Dealer twice for the above issues -- Dealer says unable to reproduce
. But it happens all the time.
What could the cause and how can I convince the Dealer to take a closer look at it? I had a C250 earlier and that was absolutely SOLID. No noise issues whatsoever.
Any thoughts/guidance appreciated.

I definitely had the same noise from the left driver-side vent area. I also can't reproduce it consistently but i notice it usually happens when i have the heat on. The issue is definitely there, i noticed one while test driving another c300, and now that I purchased one i also have the same issue. Mine is 2015 c300.
The creaking noise is also another issue that the dealer is trying to fix now. They were able to reproduce it easily when going through bumpy road and confirmed it's from the tablet display (at least for my case here)
