2015 ambient light aftermarket ?
has anyone installed ambient lighting in a c300 ? I’m looking to just install the center console part, I found one on eBay for 100 bucks but I’m curious if anyone has tried this .

I installed the Ambient Lights from Gzcarphone. I only did the center console and the front doors. GZ sends an obd2 programmer so you can control the lights from the settings menu. As far as I recall it only works for the Audio 20 (smaller screen). Throw them an email.

I recently installed the console ambient light that i got from aliexpress and i think it is the same one that you are talking about on eBay for half the price. I am very please with the result. I got orange to match the OEM interior color.

I wanted to do this but they said cars that came with the command system have to go to the dealer to get the coding done to get the ambient lighting option to show up on the command screen..

Light kit comes with a connection adapter and it’s easily seen once you take take console out. The lights fit nicely into the console where it is intended for the OEM ones.

Hi I just ordered this as well , have you had any problems with it since you installed it ? does the color match well ? any over heating of the lighting etc ? Thanks

The color matches with OEM. I did notice some heat after a long period of time being lit, probably after 40 minutes but not too bad

I bought the aliexpress kit in Sky Blue and they're incredibly bright. The install was easy and took less than an hour to finish. The lights came with a plug that goes directly into a plug that already exists within the center console. They do get warm after 30 minutes.

Is it a dangerous warm that can cause a fire etc ? I’m nervous with the after market stuff

Ok all I installed it, looks good but I do feel that they get hot , is this safe to keep using ? Also can anyone confirm are they going to be on day and night ?

Yes you can get the whole kit, doors and center console, the kit is more common then just the center console light alone. GZcarphone has it as well as several others. I just bought mine on Amazon for $280
