heated seats

C Class 205 saloon 2015. My heated seat pads on both driver and passenger seats do not heat up. Both back pads function OK. Any suggestions ???

This is a thread that I would be interested in hearing about. As mine is exactly the same I found out this evening.

This happened in my W204, it’s the coil. A wire has become brittle and has broken so there is now a break in the heating coil circuit.

if you take the bottom seat off, you may be able to find the corroded/brittle wire and repair or just take it to an interior/upholstery shop, they will be able to fix it.

Thanks for the reply Xzero. I'll take a look. I could probably check the resistance at the plug for that. Only just got the car so wasn't sure wether their was separate heating Matts for legs and back or a setting or a common fault etc.
Thanks again
