Common W205 issues covered under warranty?

What are common issues with the car to get resolved before warranty runs out???

Hey, i am coming over from the bimmer world (e92 335xi). So this is my first Mercedes.

I purchased a C300 with a production date of 4/20/15

After a little searching I am aware of the below issues, are there more issues I should look into or get resolved before my dealer warranty runs out in June??

Wind noise issue
Wrist pin issue
Transmission clicking when switching between P/D/R
Pano Sun roof getting stuck or rattling

Possible high-pressure pump issues?

I have a c400 and I experience some of the things you mentioned the wind noise I have and also the clicking when changing from P/D/R or any reverse order it makes that.
they said its normal but I am not sure if anyone else has this issue

I have this ticking/rattling coming from the overhead compartment which they think its normal..

pretty much they don't want to keep dealing with these ticks and rattles as they said there staff need to get paid and MB Canada wont reimburse them if they cant find issues..but in my view its not my problem that these issues and sounds are there and they wont figure it out.

and I also got my high pressure pump replaced as it was "louder" than normal according to MB

Hmm, well i have a GM at a dealership who is willing to help me resolve any issues as i had bad experience with them recently, so thinking they will replace anything that's remotely out of order.

Yeah that loud clicking sound when shifting gears doesn't sound right at all... but then again i have never had a "Multi Clutch Transmission" before so not sure.

Did the High pressure pump show any other indicator of failure besides noise? and what kind of noise?

Car def has wrist pin issues, getting fixed now. Anything else to tell them to fix while the engine is out?

2007 W221 S550 (mine), 2006 W211 E350 (family's), 2015 W205 C300 (family's)
I’m just chiming in on the shifting noise. That’s the “ISM” and it’s an electronic motor that changes the gear from park, to drive etc. It’s normal for it to make a slight scraping/metal sound. We have three Mercedes at my house with the 722.9 transmission and two with ISM and they both make that noise (2007 S550, 2015 C300). Though the S is much louder than the C.

Beeson is correct, it is normal for Mercedes transmissions to make a "clicking" sound when changing from P/R/D. I have had W204, W212 and now C238, all with direct injection engines (HPFP) and no failures or issues for me. For the door handle LEDs, they just tend to fail. Even on the W222 S Class. To repair I believe they replace the door handle assembly.

For any rattles, including sun/pano roof, they are covered under the original warranty, but not under extended warranty. I just took my C238 in for a squeaking pano roof, rear deck rattle and A service. Pano roof was lubed and then adjusted, fixed. Rear deck rattle determined to be rear struts, on order for replacement, though I no longer hear any noises in the cabin. All under warranty, hope that helps.

Thanks for confirming that. Yeah, this is my first Mercedes, so was a little skeptical about the noise since I never heard that before.

What type of failure though? is this something easy to do myself? Mine are fin right now but car only has 20k on it.

yeah i just hope they fix all the rattles and squeaks i thought when i was buying a 2015 mercedes, i wouldn't have to deal with issues like various rattle inside the cabin on an almost new car.

PM user Konigstiger to see if they can supply the parts diagram to show how it all goes together. I cannot say for sure the cause of the failure for door handle LEDs, some speculate poor quality LEDs that simply fail.
