I have had 2 virtually identical C300s, a 2016 and now a 2019. The 2019 has ~4,000 miles on it, and I've noticed a pretty significant reduction in gas mileage. On the 2016 I would get roughly 30 MPG. Now, on the 2019, I am only getting about 23-24 MPG. Any ideas as to why I am seeing a 20-25% reduction in mileage? Thanks!

I was thinking maybe breaking in period? idk but i thought MPG was supposed to be higher in the new w205s

That was my initial thought, but now at 4,000 miles I am not so sure. And I too thought the MPG would be similar or even higher.

I have a 2019 C300 with 1500 miles. I got 29.3 on my last tank of mostly highway driving. That's manually calculated. Total mpg for the 1500 miles calculated by the trip computer is 27.

I'm averaging mostly 23-24 MPG but lately on all highway driving I've been getting 30 MPG. The M264 seems to be smoother as the miles add up.

Our 2019 C300 is getting better mileage than our 2016. It's also quieter, better shifting, very well put together.

My 2019 c300 is a significant improvement over my 2015 c300.

I didn't own a pre facelift W205 but from what I can see the improvements are overall pretty good for the facelift model. No rattles or squeaks and feels pretty solidly built. 9 Speed is very smooth.
