Passenger airbag sometimes shows both ON & OFF at same time
So i have a 2018 year model which will go back to dealer for a check within 2 weeks. But im still curious what it can be and if somebody has seen this.
Since i bought the brand new car this is the 3rd time it occurs. The passenger seat airbag warning lamp goes on and shows both ON and OFF mode at the same time when engine is started until engine is stopped. Next time car is started it shows normal state.
Check picture!!
Any thought. Is it some software bug or a real issue??

Great THX.
My vehicle model is not mentioned in the reports but it sure seems lika a know error for other models.
I will show the reports regarding this to the dealer.

Chronology : In late February 2018, DAG launched initial investigations based on a single field report describing a condition where both the airbag off and on light were displayed at the same time. In March 2018, a vehicle showing similar symptoms in the field was requested by DAG for further analysis. In late April 2018, these analyses indicated a potential signal logic error between the seat mat, the head unit, and the display in the center console on this specific vehicle. Subsequently additional analyses were initiated to identify a possible root cause for the signal logic error in May 2018. In June and July 2018, these analyses suggested a potential timing issue of the head unit.
