Aftermarket 9.33" Android Screen Install Guide + Photos

sorry to hear that, i´m out of ideas. Last try: 13 clicks on point 3. The android bootscreen shows up, but the the screen stays black, it´s really a strange problem. The device has not a pin needle resetter? I actually thougt it has one, but this spot was not visible, so you have to remove the display to find it...but I´m really not sure...
Maybe is an adb reset possible with laptop (only if USB debugging enabled) or try to download an old firmware and try to install it. Wish you really good luck!

- the device didn't have a reset button, the hole on the side should be the mic. So I would be careful sticking a clip inside.
- ADB access is impossible, I tried many times but the port simply doesn't connect, at least with the version that I have, that delivered only one usb cable. Before replacing it because of a screen problem, the previous version had 2 usb cables, the second coming directly out from the display, not the bundle of cables, maybe that one makes the difference.
- sometimes for me it goes into a state where the unit is starting for several minutes 20-25. But then it eventually finishes it. My guess is that it has to do with the Google services themselves.
- be careful when using another home screen launcher. It seems that the wheel and buttons are only detected with the original launcher. Also the pie menu. That means, if your launcher doesnt display the back button and the applications of the system (where you can select again the bclauncher) you may be stuck. You cannot do factory reset without the main menu as far as I know.
For me I don't like how closed this display is. I like the quality of the picture but when I run other applications like head unit reloaded in self-mode it cannot start. I have the feeling that the ports are somehow closed because it must be running in a sandboxed environment.
Those are my 2 cents.

When it takes one second is because you opened other doors in the car first so the system booted up in advance and when you turn on the car, the display just switched on.

Is U0155 error related to this install?
Can installation of an aftermarket screen cause a U0155 error code? I've had this screen installed for 2 years, but in the past 2 months, I will be driving and at random times multiple warning lights come on, and then they usually go away after a few seconds. I have sometimes, not always, had the display screen temporarily go black, have my blind spot warning go out, brake hold not work, etc, all related to this. After Googling, the first thing I did was check the battery, and it's still good. Even got a battery charger just to be sure, charged it multiple times, and that's not the issue. I thought perhaps because we have to use a bundle of cables to install these aftermarket screens, that it may be the cause? Just checking before I take it to the dealer.

Maybe once I got a message that some Assistant function was deactivated, I cannot recall whether it was this one, but never again.
When I see some assistant function being disabled it has been either on heavy snow (sensor in the front totatlly blocked by snow) or under very heavy rain.
I have never associated it to the display, but I will keep an eye on it.
Thanks for pointing it out.
