c250d 9G gearbox questions
Hello everyone,
I just bought a 2017 c250d with 25000 km and I think I might have some problem with my 9G gearbox.
In confort mode I feel some jerk between 1st/2nd, 2nd/3rd and 3rd/4th gear. Is this normal? I tried audi a5 and bmw 420d and their gearbox doesn't do this. I also feel some jerk when downshifting.
Another situation is the when I go from D to R the car takes a lot of time to do it. Like 3/4 seconds. Is this normal?

I have a c200d 9G, is not the same engine but I think the gearbox could exactly the same one. Theorycally I have the same gearbox than c220d.. I do not feel that jerks that you say. Maybe in manual mode or in a very very high revs at sport+ but in confort mode never.
Anyway, I can swap between D and R inmediatly (instantally). I have no to wait a second for that. These 3/4 seconds couldn't be good, mate.

when you go from D to R you can start accelerating right away?

Yes, I can do that. When I change from D to R I can throttle immediately. I do not do it often because I can move the car releasing the brake, this more confortable.
Look, when I change from D to R (or R to D) the engine try to move the car inmediatly, I feel like the traction wheels are pushing the car but brakes don't let them.
I have never that problem with any other car (Only with manuals, this is my first automatic).
