COMAND Touchpad vs BMW i-drive?
First post! Posting in here as I guess it will have the most w205 readers.
Just took delivery of a 2017 w205 C63s with COMAND. The touchpad is absolutely woeful compared to what I had in my F10 M5. I am wondering if it's just crap or if I have an issue. For example, I cannot use it to write letters - when I try it acts as if I've lifted my finger when half way through the letter. Basically it's just really unresponsive and feels like I need to press it not too hard and not too soft to get anywhere with it - entirely unlike the BMW, or any laptop I've used for example.
Just me?

I’ve only used it once or twice, not a fan, but mine did not skip or not register when used. I would prob try and wipe it clean first. Also try turning it off in the settings menu and then turn it on again. If neither of those work then it’s time to obviously bring it in. Maybe there’s an update.

Thanks. Would be good to get a few more opinions. I've tried turning it off and on again (I work in IT!), and it has the latest software - the dealer put it on before I collected it.
