auto parking
i've never actually tried this as there is no simple button like for the 360° view and actually i start to wonder if my car has this option now.
is there an easy way to check? otherwise i'll have to try the parking methode and look if i get something on the display

Decode your VIN and you can see the parking options on your vehicle. Or post your VIN here and we will help.
On a 2017 W166, a blue "P" icon appears in the MFD when the vehicle is traveling below a certain speed. When the system detects a large-enough parking space, a white arrow appears next to the blue "P" icon, indicating the location of the parking spot. It works very well on the W166, can't comment on other vehicles.

Like you say, why don't you try it and see for yourself? You'll know soon enough if you have it.

Doa,
Your datacard is attached. It looks like you have a self parking feature on your vehicle.
You have options:
235 Active Park Assist
P44 Parking Package
MBUSA video on Active Park Assist: https://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/techn...00ccec1e35RCRD
Here is a link identifying the P44 and 235 options: https://mercedesbenzme.com/media/3223092/c-class.pdf
Give it a try, it works well for me.
