W205 Quad Diffuser install HELP

I have installed an after market C63 style quad diffuser on my C400. I was able to get most of the parts on, however I am having troubles getting the diffuser to clip back onto the rear bumper. The clips appear to be lining up but I cannot for the life of me get it clip into the bumper. Tried forcing it quiet a bit... Anyone with experience installing these, do I need to take off the whole bumper to get it out? Any tips would be much appreciated.

The aftermarket diffuser clips are probably the cause of the fitment issues. I had the same issue until I put the oem and aftermarket diffuser side by side and cut the aftermarket tabs to size

I agree with C300AWD, lots of people complain about fitment with aftermarkets parts, hence why I went OEM.

Try reaching behind there and pushing them both together. Its going to be a very tight squeeze for your hand/arm but its definitely better then starting to source OEM parts!
