We have a pair of W205 sedans (15 & 19) and will be purchasing some items from the local IKEA. One specific box is larger than the rest and checking if I can still carry it via trunk with rear seats folder. I will be picking up the box alone so can move up the front passenger seat as needed. I assume both sedans have the same interior measurements but posting model years just in case there was some material update that added inches. Box sizing below:

Width 42 cm (16.5")
Height 7 cm (2.75")
Length 186 cm (73.25")

Any thoughts of experience on if this box will fit with the trunk lid closed?

Unfortunately I can't find the tape measure and need to pickup or schedule delivery tonight.

To provide an update my fears were overblown. Longest box fit with minimal adjustments to front passenger seat.

I got a Finnby bookcase box to fit. Ikea has the package (actual sealed box) dimensions on their site for every product. See "Package details" tab.

haha welcome to my life!!!
every few weeks i go to ikea and im faced with the choice of taking either the W205 or the goddamn minivan. I like to drive so I always pick the W205 (the odyssey drives like ****), but I can never buy anything useful as most boxes don't fit (3 kids in the backseat).... yeeeepppppppp
