New C300 owner here, considering buying a Garmin Nav SD card. I'm reading that the standard Garmin nav is not so hot, so buying it its not a slam dunk; I'm happy to use Waze.

1. If I get the Garmin SD, is there a utility for entering destination info on the SD card via my laptop instead of through the onboard controls?
2. Are the SD cards specific to a model year; i,e, must I buy a 2017 SD card to work in a '17 C300 or will more recent cards work?
