2015 C400 cracked wheel
Last week on my commute to work construction started on a toll road where they were revamping and improving the road. As I was driving the road that was being worked on was at a lower elevation than the regular road (if that makes sense). Well as the road that was being worked on ended and we were transitioning on to the regular road there was a 2 inch jump between the two. Granted the construction workers had somewhat of a concrete type ramp built however, I hit that ramp pretty hard. I had that experience happen to me twice. I knew it was a hard hit because my sunglasses holder thing popped open. After I got to work after both hits the tires looked fine and so did the wheel
However fast forward a week later (Tuesday the 9th) I sat in my car to go to work and my tire pressure light came on and it had fallen to 17psi I went to a local tire shop and filled up air to my regular amount 39psi. I rode all the way to a tire shop near work with the tire pressure fluctuating between 38 and 39 and left the car there till after work for the shop to inspect it. They then told me that they found a crack in my wheel and will be needing a new wheel.
Now I need some advice whether this rim is fixable or not. In my opinion I believe it is not fixable as the tire shop said so as well. If there is someone who has more knowledge/expertise with cracked wheels feel free to chime in. I'll be attaching photos as well.
Basically now the car can not be driven since it always loses air every time it has settled down.
I apologize if this post does not make sense. I kind of put all my thoughts together and started typing. Feel free to ask more questions.
Thanks,

a rim repair shop with moral will tell you it's unsafe to repair it. that's what this rim repair shop owner (she) told me. try eBay for a remanufactured rim.

RTW Wheels (online) has OEM wheels for great prices. Some are take-off's, some are refurbished. They look as good as new. I bought two for my 2014 C300 and was very impressed. I think I paid $300 with shipping for the pair.

Agreed wit the above - that stress fracture is likely not fixable.
