Cheap Performance Upgrades for the C400

Good day everyone,

I am looking to add some minor and noticeable boost to the C400. Preferably the best piggyback tunes as i'm not looking for anything dramatic. Faster and less lag when accelerating are my focus. Thanks for any suggestions you provide.

Yes, I am! Makes a ton more power (safely). Multiple map settings to go more or less aggressive if you’d like. I’ve only had it 4K miles (car has 51k miles) and no issues. There’s people in our WhatsApp group that have had it 30k+ miles with no issues

Thanks,

I am happy to learn it can be used for a long time without much issues. How does it compare to the dinan tune ? In terms of performance gains ? I took a look at JB4 and observed it seems to offer more options and upselling add ons.

And for the JB4 - do I need to buy all the options?

What's your experience with this? And why are you getting rid of it?

Its a great tuning from a good Mercedes Tuner!

The tuning is awesome! Much power 0-60 in 4.2 seconds.

Have mine OBD tuned now, but was super happy with the Kleemann

What are you doing now in 0 to 60 with the OBD tune and what did you not like about the Kleeman ?

havent tryed 0-60 yet !

i liked everything about the Kleemann! There was nothing negative for me, only get the OBD by a friens who is working for a tuning company

and our ECU’s normally had getting opened to tune, but OBD is better (warranty etc.)

So the Kleemann is def good and leaves no traces when you take it out off the car.

Which OBD tune did you go with? Was there any deciding factor?

Have gone for Eurocharged!

OBD tuning isn’t thst long available for our car ! So the Kleemann was the perfect solution to tune without opening the ECU for a flash!

now OBD tuning is possible so went to that!

have the OBD tuning now 2 weeks, great power over the whole RPM range. 0-60 what i meassured is about 4.5 secs so not as fast as the Kleemann

I've read reports about odb struggling/ fighting with stock settings in normal daily drives. How is the mileage performance? Please give details on your experience with this tune.

jb4 or an amr/eurocharged tune. best bang for buck with jb4 though. the full flash are marginally better maybe? driver mod is usually what seperates the times. stack a jb4 on a full flash and you have a monster.
