Does your car roll forward?
Hey guys, I have a 2016 W205 w/ Luxury Package (not sure if this makes a difference here). I noticed in all my loaner cars (2018-2019) when I put the car into drive or reverse, the car rolls forward without gas (after releasing the brake). With my 2016 W205 this doesn't happen, the car does not move until I give it some gas.
Is there an issue with my 2016? Did they change the way this works on newer years?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys I figured it out. When my car starts up the parking brake is engaged automically. It doesn't switch off until I hit the gas a little or if I manually switch it off. I guess it gets engaged when I hit park. This is seperate from the hold function which I can engage while the car is running.
