I assumed that elec. folding side mirrors were std (as they are on other German cars) but my cab lacks the control button shown in the manual. Was this really an extra cost option in 2017?

You can turn the feature on and off. I believe it's in the settings on the gauge cluster (but not positive).

For 2017 models - Folding Mirrors were part of $4,000 P02 Package (also all P02 features was included in P03 for $6,900).

For 2018 AND 2018 models - Folding Mirrors were moved to be included in $1,650 P01 package
