bubbling plastic on mirror
Anyone ever seen this weird bubbling of the plastic on the mirror?
2018 C300 about 1 year old.
It's like it started melting from the inside.

Really bad on the driver mirror on the edge nearest the side window. Just starting on the passenger mirror.

Under New Car Warranty it will be taken care of - frankly I have not seen anything like this in the US - are you located outside-US ?

In US.

So, far, dealer "approval" guy gave us some story that it "looks like one customer that was smoking and ashes did that." (What was he smoking... salmon on a grill?)
Denied warranty. We're working with another guy to see if we can go further up MB chain.
