'17 C300C4 Coupe cabin filter replacment DIY (do-in-yourself) help...
I have a '17 Mercedes W205 C300C4 Coupe...and I would like to change the cabin filter that is located above the glove box area. I purchased a OEM filter from an eBay parts vendor at a nice discount.
The online DIY (do-it-yourself) videos are all focused on the W205 Sedan...it is safe to assume the cabin filter replacement procedure is the the same for all W205 models (both sedan & coupe)?
Has any forum member replaced the cabin filter on their W205 coupe by themselves? (FYI...I've already replaced the dust filter under the hood...very simple!)
Thanks!
Randy...

Coupe and sedan both have same locations for the cabin filter. Pretty much all there is to it are two hex screws under the glove box located on the corners near the door and by the center console. After you take those out the entire cover can 'snap off' and you just pull it out slowly. Becareful taknig it out as there's a temperature sensor on the top left side that could get damaged if you pull it out aggressively. The cabin filter has a sliding lock that you can adjust to open it, simply just pull it out and replace it.
here's a video for some reference, this is a sedan but the coupe is the same.
