Hi I have a w205 with the regular sport grille and star that comes with the amg package. I am interested in switching to the new mirror/glass star as shown in this picture. I don’t want to switch the grille, just wanted to see if anyone has done this and how?
$150 is too much for the mirrored emblem. I bought an aftermarket MB mirrored emblem a month ago to install on my aftermarket Panamericana grill and couldn't get the top of the MB star to align properly. It was off by a bit and I had to return it. I even tried installing it on my OEM grill and didn't align properly on that too. I've seen people post their mirrored emblems on here and you can clearly see it's not aligned probably. I guess it's not a problem for some.
