DIY: W205 Chrome Window Trim removal for vinyl wrapping
Hey everyone I removed the chrome window trim on my W205 to vinyl wrap them gloss black, essentially the “night” package. This applies to 2015+ C300, C400, C450, C43, C63 sedans. Proceed at your own risk!
I would have been a huge pain to wrap them on the car and the results probably wouldn’t look great either. Check out my video on how to remove the trim off your car. The only thing I have to say is be careful when removing the thinner trim as it may bend out of shape, making it more difficult to put back into the rubber after. Otherwise its a relatively simple process, the most time consuming part was actually wrapping the trim itself.
