remote fob need an extra key
got myself a pre owned 2016 c300. first benz own lexuses so far.
the car had only 1 fob.. i went in for minor stuff to the dealer park place in DALLAS texas( grapevine location) he said its gonna be 5-600$
WTF!!!... wow.. can i get one from ebay for 120$ and then ask them to program it..
TIA for all advice..

Not sure about your question but you should be able to get one from Ebay and get it programmed, not positive though. Did you purchase the vehicle Certified or from a Mercedes dealership?

The expense is the programming! Mercedes has always charged that for smart keys. My 2004 CL was $500 to get a proximity key for it. It didn't even have one proper key! It came with a key fob that didn't match the car, but started it anyway.

i got it from a 3rd party dealer. so its still under warranty.. and they are fixing some minor stuff.. etc. i will ask him that my dealer is going to give me a new unprogrammed key and how much is the fee for programming it... yeah . i hope they do it for 100-200..

Do not waste your money with used keys. Your vehicle is equipped with the DAS4 security system. The only place you can get a key right now is the dealer. They can actually program it on the spot and they should have the keys in stock.

and I bought the 2016 c300 2016 w205 from Copart Huiston Texas auction without a key. All its keys are missing and I shipped them to my country, Libya. I could not get a key in my country. What is the solution? Is there someone who helps me to get a key

Since the car came from the United States maybe try and email Mercedes Benz North America.
