as you can see by the title, I think i have the apparently super common wrist pin issue. But I’m not certain... ok... I’m 95% sure, I have the same ticking noise as described in every single f****** thread, and it sounds the same as in every video... I’m up in the air about bringing it to the dealer by me because I called and they said “I haven’t even heard of that issue.” And the other said “we’ve only seen it once”... so I don’t want to be jacked around or pay the ridiculous $150 an hour diagnostic charge without at least backed certainty that it could fall into the time frame.
I attached a picture of the label on the inside of my door jamb. If someone can confirm that it falls into the category, that would be great!!
Any info on if MB has pulled their head out of their *** and realized this is a serious issue too would be greatly appreciated! I’m just baffled that this isn’t an actual recall... and for it to be “just a sound issue” is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard... how can a main component In the engine being out of tolerance, not be a real issue....
