Individual Mode question

Forgive me as I'm sure this has been asked before but I just cannot seem to locate the answer. When programming in Individual Mode on the C400, which engine setting is "M" equivalent to? Seems to be Sport+ as the JB4 is only active in Sport+ as far as I know and there seems to be no difference in power between Sport+ and I* but I could be way off. Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

Manual mode and S+ will have firmer shifts than S/C/E modes.
JB4 is "active" regardless of the mode. What map are you running on the C400?
Power made is the same for the modes but throttle/steering sensitivity, shift points and rpm reached under WOT will vary based on the mode.
Also if you are in C or E and press the kick-down switch on the peddle the car will behave as if its in S mode although the car will respond slower if you are say in Eco mode, top gear and peg the throttle it will be much slower to react than if you were in S+ and floor it.

I'm running map 2 for now with the JB4.

I think I probably didn't ask the question properly. When I go into my cars settings, and pick the choices for I*, the drive modes are E,C,S,S+,M. If I pick M, does that mean the car is in S+ with Manual Shifting? It seems to be that way but not sure if it's S (May not be a difference at that point).

Yes. the M setting will leave it to the driver to shift but steering and throttle with behave like in sport mode.
S+ and M will allow for slightly higher shift points than S i believe.
Also for the C400 you can go a little more agressive on the map choice than with a C450/43. Map 5 and even 7 should be good with pump gas 93 assuming you dont live in an extreme temp zone and have the green fuel plug in.
Still log to be sure fuel trims are good. I didnt find map 2 was enough for my liking. map 5 or 7 was better for daily use, and is inline with a C43 on map 1/2. But everyone is different.

I'll have to try both of those maps and do a log to be sure. I'm in the Northeast and the temps/humidity here have been absolutely ruthless the last couple weeks. I'm also expecting my dual intakes to arrive tomorrow so I'll throw those in and then mess with some other mapping options.

Not sure on the C400, but on the C300, M seems more like in between S and S+. Shifts are quick, but it removes the upshift 'burps' from the exhaust.
