CC220 - Garmin Maps not reconised.
Hi guys,
I'm in Ireland and I've recently bought a late model 2014 W205 / C220 and I'd really appreciate your help.
I've purchased a Garmin Map Pilot SD Card from eBay, I've checked the card on my pc and it seems to be in working order with Garmin maps.
However, when I place it into the SD card reader in the center armrest the "No memory card containing navigation software installed" doesn't go away?
The SD card and its reader are both working as it shows up in the Media > Devices list.
This leads me to believe the Garmin map pilot needs software with it ? is there any way to check what software the car has? or what extra does is need to get the sat nav working?
Kind of a bummer all that money and it isn't working! I wanted to see if any of you guys know before I go and spend an absolute fortune I can't afford in a dealership to get it fixed.

I’ve downloaded the “download manager” on both a pc and Mac , made an account and still it says “no device detected”. I’ve tried changing the directories to see if that helps but a-last no joy. Could the card be a dud? The files on it seem to be legit.
